Last fall, I purchased a kit to build a raised garden, and was waiting for nice weather to break. When the rain finally stopped for a minute this spring, I had a challenge to get the proper cedar boards, as few of the local lumber suppliers had the exact width and length I wanted. I mentioned this to my neighbor, Greg, and he not only had a solution, he offered to to help me make it happen. He hand-picked and delivered the boards I wanted, and then advised us on an appropriate mix of soil and mulch, not only for the new raised garden but also for the rest of the gardens. I then made an appointment with him to get help moving the materials. The members of his team, Cameron and Colin, arrived right on schedule as planned and distributed the 9 yards of material to all the various gardens across the property. These guys were great to work with, and it was a labor-intensive project that was completed pretty much as we planned. I’m very grateful for the teamwork and the advice of my neighbor, great things happen when we work together.
Greg runs his own landscaping & design business, Wilderness Outdoor Services, and can do this and so much more. To see a portfolio of his work you can visit his Facebook page at
