While out walking in Ward 1 and meeting the residents, I get to see a lot of dogs. And by the response I get, a lot of dogs get to see me. Sometimes its brief, from both sides of a door or window. We say hello, and then I move on to the neighbors.
Once in a while, I get to say hello directly, and there might be some scritches involved. Some of the really big dogs have been the most friendly and gentle. I’ve met quite a few rescues as well, and I’m grateful to see dogs that get a second chance with a good family. It has been a fun journey meeting the dogs of Ward 1, and there are so many GOOD DOGS.
